The new spacers use the same principle as the old blocks in that they fit between the top of the strut assembly and the chassis to create a lift, however the new kits do this with a stack of steel lift discs that are installed by removing the suspension/ strut mount and replacing the existing studs with longer hardened bolts, then adding a number of discs that corresponds with the specified lift of your given kit, with the exception of the 1/2" booster kit which fits without removing the suspension mount or adding new bolts. The 1/2" booster kit is the same kit as the 1/2" leveling kit that we had offered in the past, it is sold in pairs so you can lift just the rear to correct stance issues.
The 1" lift kit will give 1" of lift after installed, which is the best option for people who want to see minimal wear on the car and do not want to install a camber kit. The 2" kit is best for people who want maximum lift, have minimal highway usage, and will require the most expensive camber kit to prevent wear. The 1.5" kit is a good compromise and wear can be prevented with a minimal camber kit. The 1" cargo boost kit will provide up to 1" of lift in addition to offering adjustable ride height and increased spring rates. The Rallyover kits provide up to 2" of lift, rally matched dampening, adjustable ride height, and slightly stiffer spring rates. The use of camber kits with the Rallyover kits follows the same general 1, 1.5, and 2 inch conventions of the block and disc kits. With any of these products best results will be noted with a 1/2" to 1" increase in tire radius (please see our tire suggestions under the "Tech" tab).
